Jackie Burton

Jackie's art is classically naïve, bringing her own special style to each of her portraits and landscapes. Most of her pieces are inspired by well known artists or photographs or other everyday sources, but made uniquely her own, creating a special ‘personality’ for each piece.

Jackie’s favourite artists include Van Gogh (also an Isleworth resident in 1876!); Lowry and Picasso – she has a number of paintings ‘after’Picasso’. She has a real love of French impressionism, especially Claude Monet. A highlight for Jackie was a trip to Giverny to visit his famous garden, and the site of the famous 'Waterlillies'.
