Makoto Kushida

Makoto Kushida is a Japanese milliner based in London. After finishing hat-making and millinery studies in Tokyo, Japan he moved to London to pursue his lifelong passion for designing and creating headwear. Makoto’s style is traditional with a distinctive Japanese touch. His hat designs focus on individual shapes using rare, vintage and self-crafted hat blocks. His current collection includes fedoras, cocktails hats, fascinators, classical hats, baseball caps and some unique hand-crafted models.
